Shohna is a B2B platform in the FMCG industry that aims to revolutionize the marketplace by digitizing the purchasing processes between retailers and wholesalers.
Shohna is a technology company in the FMCG market which aims to provide the best experience for the two main stakeholders in the market who are the retailer and the wholesaler. The average Iraqi household spends 32% of its income in the fast moving consumer goods market and Shohna aims to capitalize on that by providing a platform that makes transactions between wholesalers and retailers far smoother and digitize the FMCG scene in the Iraq and KRG region. Shohna eventually aims to transform the culture of moving goods and trading in Iraq. Shohna primarily solves the problem of friction when ordering goods the retailers have to go through by not only providing a reliable network of wholesalers and exclusive offers.
When Shohna first started last September, it started on-ground marketing to onboard customers. As of now shohna has over 180 retailers. and more than 50 wholesalers and companies. Shohna's team is currently 5 people. The managing Director, the cofounder and CTO company. Two Customer Success Specialists and one Operation Manager are part of Shohna's team.
Shohna aims to expand its network and team to generate more revenue by the end of this year. Our goal is to have over 300 retailers and more than 150 wholesalers.
Shohna is in the process of registering as an official company. At Shohna we all believe that we are in the process of digitizing the Iraqi retail!
Shohna started with a web-based application where we validated the need for shohna in the market and by the end of this June Shohna's mobile application will be on the App Store and Google Store.
